Cet article vous montre comment rationaliser ces codes langues pour les rendre lisibles &#8211; ou en tout cas vous mettre sur le bon chemin \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voyons voir quelle langue est la plus utilis\u00e9e&#8230; MAIS C&rsquo;EST ILLISIBLE?!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Commen\u00e7ons par la base et examinons le joyeux bazar du rapport Google Analytics <strong>Audience &gt; Donn\u00e9es g\u00e9ographiques &gt; Langue<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"828\" height=\"870\" src=\"https:\/\/juliencoquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/google-analytics-language-codes-list.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2693\" srcset=\"https:\/\/juliencoquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/google-analytics-language-codes-list.png 828w, https:\/\/juliencoquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/google-analytics-language-codes-list-286x300.png 286w, https:\/\/juliencoquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/google-analytics-language-codes-list-768x807.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On y trouve beaucoup de valeurs, sens\u00e9es adopter <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ISO_639\">la norme ISO-639-1 pour les codes de langue<\/a>. Pour r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, ISO-639-1 utilise un code de langue sur 2 lettres tel que <em>en<\/em> pour l&rsquo;anglais et <em>fr<\/em> pour le fran\u00e7ais. Ce qui est clair, facile et devrait \u00eatre mis en \u0153uvre partout, n&rsquo;est-ce pas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ca devrait \u00eatre le cas &#8211; sauf dans les navigateurs Web qui eux utilisent des versions d\u00e9riv\u00e9es de la norme 639-1 en ajoutant un code local. Par exemple, <em>en-gb<\/em> est pour l&rsquo;anglais de Grande-Bretagne. De la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on on distingue le fran\u00e7ais de France (fr-fr ou fr_FR) du qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois (fr-ca ou fr_CA). Ceci est d\u00fb \u00e0 une sp\u00e9cification pour les navigateurs et les serveurs Web bas\u00e9e sur le contenu linguistique qui doit \u00eatre accept\u00e9 et servi. Le param\u00e8tre <em>$A1<\/em> fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au contenu du premier jeu de parenth\u00e8ses du champ A. Cela signifie que tout code langue \u00e9tendu se normalisera avec le temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme avec la plupart des fonctions de Google Analytics, ce filtre n\u2019est pas r\u00e9troactif. Cela signifie que pendant un certain temps, vous aurez des rapports comprenant \u00e0 la fois des codes langue abr\u00e9g\u00e9s, standard et conformes aux normes ISO639-1 ainsi que les absurdit\u00e9s <em>ab-cde-wtf<\/em> que vous avez pu observer par le pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">En conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En fait, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s la mise en place de ce filtre, je ne vous promets pas que vous utiliserez <strong>Audience &gt; Donn\u00e9es g\u00e9ographiques &gt; Langue<\/strong> davantage que maintenant. Et l\u00e0, je sens la confusion monter en vous, \u00e0 juste titre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tout \u00e9tat de cause, vos donn\u00e9es de code langue seront propres et lisibles apr\u00e8s la mise en place du filtre, presque utiles &#8211; mais pas forc\u00e9ment.  Pourquoi? Parce qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;un rapport d\u00e9taillant la langue du navigateur &#8211; ce qui fait que mes menus sont en fran\u00e7ais par exemple &#8211; <strong>mais pas la langue du contenu consult\u00e9 dans le navigateur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour \u00eatre honn\u00eate, le rapport sur les codes langue pourrait m&rsquo;indiquer par exemple une app\u00e9tance pour mon contenu par des visiteurs au navigateur en Chinois, alors que mon blog est en anglais et en fran\u00e7ais. Cela dit je n&rsquo;ai aucun moyen de savoir s&rsquo;ils utilisent une extension de navigateur telle que <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/google-translate\/aapbdbdomjkkjkaonfhkkikfgjllcleb?hl=en\">Google Translate.<\/a> Devrais-je commencer \u00e0 poster en Mandarin? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le plus utile serait de corr\u00e9ler mes nouveaux rapports de code langue (d\u00e9sormais bien propres sur eux) avec la consommation de contenu dans une langue particuli\u00e8re. C&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que je commencerais \u00e0 tirer des \u00ab\u00a0enseignements\u00a0\u00bb de ce genre de rapports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et vous? Examinez vous vos rapports de code langue?
