Flapdaddy.com, a website for Flapdaddy Productions, Inc based in Round Rock, Texas, launched it’s Social Networking site today.
The goal is to combine the growing market of Social Networking and Video hosting/streaming sites with the concept of Talent Contest.
This is a sort of “Myspace meets American Idol” site with the grand prize being awarded next year, a package expected to be $1 million worth of cash and prizes to the final winner.
The site, while new, expects to allow Premium account holders to broadcast their talent to the users and have them vote on a weekly basis, with Semi-finals every 8 weeks and a “Finale” next October.
